As Pakistan’s digital ecosystem advances, women in tech and entrepreneurship are taking up center stage with their roles in the industry, and one such woman is the super talented Sakina Abbas – CEO of Reactree, and now, Pakistan’s first female Google Developer Expert for Flutter and Dart.
A graduate from FAST University, Sakina has always shown remarkable talent as a tech entrepreneur, speaker, and member of Flutter Pakistan’s team. Now, by becoming the first female GDE in the country, she will get to be a part of Google’s highly experienced technology experts, influencers, and thought leaders who actively support developers, companies, and tech communities by speaking at events, publishing content and more. These professionals actively contribute to and support the developer and startup ecosystems around the world, helping them build and launch highly innovative apps.
That’s definitely a glowing feather in her cap.
Upon hearing the news, the new GDE took to LinkedIn to share her achievement with her followers.
From entrepreneurship to becoming the first female GDE in Pakistan, Sakina’s journey serves as an inspiration to existing and new members of the industry. With this achievement, not only has she proved her merit yet again, but also opened an opportunity for members of the industry who want to aim for more.
It is success stories like hers that have led Pakistan’s tech ecosystem on a path to growth, and we look forward to more of such impactful stories from the community to learn from, and take inspiration to create stories of our own.
