Animated Movies That Gave Us Great Life Lessons – Part 2

1) Up:

Up tells the story of an elderly balloon salesman trying to escape and fly away by tying hundreds of balloons to his home. But inside his home a young boy is stocking up, and the two must learn to get along. Up tells you it’s never too late to pursue your dreams and to respect other people and their significance in your life.

2) Inside out:

We’re living in times when we do whatever we can to become happier and more aware of our lives, but we often forget that each emotion plays an important role in our lives and that neglecting the negative ones is not the wisest thing to do. I believe this is the key lesson of the movie, to encourage us to accept our negative emotions and try to see the big picture and how each emotion has its own role.
The secret is not to neglect, but to learn how to work with your emotions.

3) The good dinosaur:

This story is set in a world where dinosaurs and humans co-existed. The story is about an introverted and shy dinosaur, Arlo, who finds himself poor and not good enough to accomplish anything significant. When he travels through mysterious and hard landscapes along with an unlikely human, Arlo overcomes his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of. A life lesson addressed in this animated form is not only for children but also for adults.

4) Big hero 6:

Revenge is never a positive choice because it would make you feel worse than before. Let karma get the job done for you. All you have to do is free yourself by trying to forgive the individual and the universe decides whether to punish that person or not. Sometimes grief can make us blind, but that’s why we have friends that can help us see what’s right from wrong and help us make better decisions.

You don’t have to do it all by yourself and you don’t have to have all the answers. It’s alright to seek help, that’s what powerful individuals do. We are just human beings. We all have good and bad days, and we all need a little boost sometimes.

5) Despicable me:

The movie shows you that in order to have a change of heart you’re never too old and the biggest joys are in the smallest of moments.

This was the list of animated movies that taught me great lessons to get through life, and be strong while doing so. If you want to read part one of this blog, visit here. Which movies have you learned from?
